Je voulais dessiner un pattern avec une fleur que l’on trouve partout autour de nous et dont la couleur et la la forme n’ont rien à envier au fleurs plus rares ou plus exotiques… LA BOURRACHE !!!

I wanted to design a pattern based on a flower we can find everywhere around while it has nothing to envy of much scarcer or exotic flowers. THE BORAGE !!!

TREE OF LIFE pattern

Un motif aux tiges robustes. Au lieu de dessiner, comme à mon habitude, des tiges souples et des fleurs des champs légères, j’ai créé ici une série de motifs inspirés de buissons de baies et de fleurs clochettes à graines qui vont etre dispersées bientôt pour attendre que des oiseaux les emmènent un peu plus loin.
J’ai aussi pensé à un arbre de vie sur les branches duquel on aurait zoomé 🙂
A pattern with sturdy stems in place of supple stems and light field flowers I usually draw. I designed a series of patterns inspired by berry bushes and bell flowers containing seeds that will soon be scattered for birds to scatter them all over.
I also thought of the pattern as a zoom on the branches the tree of life.

THE CHERRY TREE PATTERN

Pour réaliser ce motif je me suis inspirée des arbres en fleur… qui se trouveraient du coté des cerisiers ou des pêchers…
To design this pattern I got my inspiration from a mix cherry and peach blossom tree.
SCANDINAVIAN IRIS FLOWERS PATTERN

Un motif où l’on voit le trait du crayon (ici HB procreate pencil). Un iris qui aurait gagné en fragilité (une tige en fil, des petals en papier de soie) et des fleurs de champs avec des filaments infinis qui font des formes de fleurs à leur tour.
On dirait un motif pour de2corer des boites en métal, cubiques ou cylindriques …
A pattern that shows the pencil stroke (here HB procreate pencil). An Iris with a thin stem and thin paper petal) and wild flower with endless filaments that produce in turn flowers shapes
It would fit some metallic cylindrical boxes …

Motif “boite à sel”

FR: Une artiste dont j’admire le travail et le regard artistique (ses aquarelles papiers et numériques sont incroyables) a écrit en commentaire instagram que ces motifs étaient “lui évoquaient une boîte à sel Hongroise de la fin de 18ème siècle”. C’est inattendu et depuis je les regarde d’un autre oeil, amusé. J’ai gardé le nom 😉 .
ENGL: An artist whose work and artistic perception I admire (amongst a wide variety of work she makes stunning paper & digital water colors) wrote in a commentary on instagram that those patterns might evoke an old Hungarian salt box. I now look at it with an amused eye. I kept the name 😉 .

FR/ Je n’avais encore jamais imprimé des dessins réalisés avec #procreate. C’est fait et j’en suis plutôt contente. Dans l’ensemble, il faut dire, que je suis tellement impressionnée par l’application procreate que je n’en attendais pas moins !
ENGL/ Until now I had not printed my work made with #procreate. I am very pleased with the result. I would say that I expect nothing less from it. I am so impress by the application generally speaking

Français: Parfois on a envie de créer des fleurs simples qui deviendront ensuite des motifs répétés sans couture. Je l’imprime aussi sur papier en fleur unique: quand on a besoin d’une touche de couleur et de fraicheur sur nos murs.
English: Sometimes I feel like exploring simple shapes that I would use later to create seamless patterns. it might also be used a small / medium size print. when you need a touch of color on your wall.
